We are looking for an expert to replace the Team Leader of one of our projects in Turkey. The project, Cultural Heritage Development of southeast Turkey, has already started 7 month ago and will run until January 2007.The job includes tasks related to:
– Co-ordination of project management and implementation
– Liaison with beneficiary, EU representation and local stakeholders
– Supervision of management of TAT accounts in accordance with EU procedures
– Production of EU projects reports/workplans
– Development of project indicators for project monitoring and implementation
– Monitoring of project outputs

The candidate should have at least 15 years of senior managerial responsibilities, and 5 years of experience managing international cooperation projects as well as in programme planning and monitoring.

The candidate should also have 5 years of experience in regional development with experience of cultural heritage development; 2 years experience in EC development co-ordination or been familiarized with EU regional development policies. Experience in project cycle management and/or in training needs assessment is also required.
